Bison Vintage Rebirth Custom Motorcycle Racing Suit
We love vintage racing and we’ve always felt that every vintage, sidecar or cafe bike should be ridden by a rider wearing a proper-looking kit. With that in mind we set about designing a suit that looks right at home on a grid of vintage or flat track racers while feeling and performing like a state-of-the-art product for the wearer.
The first thing you notice about the VR suit is the lack of external sliders on the shoulders, knees and elbows. The next thing you notice is the beautiful diamond-stitched elements on the arms, shoulders, shins and small back speed hump.

2025 Season Note: Due to high consumer demand Helite is working hard to keep up with production on vests and refill canisters. Because of this, when you order your Helite product, we cannot guarantee that the vests or canisters will be in stock at our HQ. In regards to vests specifically, in most cases we receive vest orders from Helite within the 60 day window it takes to get your Bison suit produced, so this should not affect you. If there is an unforeseen delay, we will do our best to keep you abreast of timelines and updates from the manufacturer. - 1.3-1.4mm cowhide OR 1.1-1.2mm kangaroo hide in a wide variety of colors with printed patterns available.
- One- or Two-piece construction available. Two-piece suits attach using a 280-degree metal YKK zipper at the waist.
- Available with or without knee puck velcro.

For this reason, we ask that you consider this when designing your suit and gloves. Your Gear Customization Specialist will assist you in this area. We may utilize cowhide in printed areas or cut/stitch patterns and designs when possible. Please contact us for specific information and questions regarding kangaroo printing.

For Custom Built Orders the design process can be completed in as quickly as 24 hours, however it isn’t unusual for us to spend time with the customer tweaking and modifying designs. This means the design time varies greatly from customer to customer. Our average design time is about two weeks but again - this is dependent on how intricate the design is and how quickly you make the decision to finalize the design. Once said design is approved and we have measurements, completed suit and/or gloves are typically in your hands in under 60 days!
